Welcome to the home of the inaugural Epic Swim Festival!
The
Epic Swim will take place for the first time in 2010 in Lake Taupo. This annual
event will consist of recreational open water swims of varying distances, the
New Zealand 5km and 10km Open Water Championships and also the New Zealand
Masters 2.5km Open Water Swimming Championships, to be held in the stunning
Lake Taupo, New Zealand.

What: Recreational 500m, 2km and 5km swims plus mini swims for kids. There will be various activities and events for all the family plus the New Zealand 5km and 10km and NZ Masters 2.5km Open Water Championships.
Price: Entries starting from $5 for kids and $55 for adults (includes swim cap and t-shirt).
Why: Swimming New Zealand, Tailwind Promotions and Healthwise Global want to deliver an extremely sought after event that caters for all fitness levels and showcases one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, Lake Taupo. There will be a festival atmosphere with music, jumping castles, face painters, games, a range of open water races with substantial prizes, displays, and loads of food and drink to ensure the entire weekend is enjoyed by all.
